The three signings that Newcastle wants to close in the next few days – News

Lewis Hall: After seeing talks over a loan move to Crystal Palace fall through, Chelsea have decided to cash in on the 18-year-old academy graduate, who spent his youth teams days playing in midfield but is comfortable at left-back.

90min understands that Newcastle have agreed to a package which could be worth up to £35m for Chelsea, with Hall set to move to St James’ Park on an initial loan deal which includes an obligation for a permanent move next summer.

Tierney and Cucurella: Newcastle want to sign a left back on loan before the transfer window closes, according to The Telegraph. The report suggests both Eddie Howe’s side are interested in both Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney and Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella, with the players thought to be keen on a move.

Both deals could include an option or an obligation to buy next summer with Newcastle confident an agreement could be reached with either Arsenal or Chelsea. Speaking to Sky Sports after Newcastle’s 5-1 win over Aston Villa on Saturday Night Football, Howe spoke about his side’s transfer window, revealing the club are hopeful of making one more signing before the deadline.
